The AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C is a 24-port, 10Gbps hybrid PoE++/PoE+ (Ports 1-8 are PoE++, ports 9-24 are PoE+) network switch developed and manufactured by AVPro. The switch design seamlessly supports wide-ranging Audio/Video-over-IP applications, including SDVoE, Dante, AVPro Edge MXnet 10G, and others, using the latest Multigigabit campus-level switch chipset. Doubled up to cascade in Virtual Switch Framework mode and for operation as a singular switch with an aggregate total of 48 endpoints (16 TCVRs configured as Encoders and 32 configured as Decoders), the AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C supports plug-and-play functionality without manual configuration. Purpose-designed and built to a Carrier-Grade rating for high reliability and mission-critical applications, the AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C can accommodate two hot-swappable 530-watt power supply modules for instantaneous auto-redundancy. (Note: The AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C is shipped with a single PSU). With 24 x 10G-mGig RJ45 ports with a total bandwidth of 480Gbps and two 40Gbps QSFP+ stacking ports with 160Gbps total bandwidth, the AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C has a calculated switching capacity of 640Gbps, providing an abundant amount of headroom safety and a generous forwarding rate for high data throughput and uniform distribution of traffic for improved network efficiency. The AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C has been pre-configured with Quality of Service (QoS) settings optimized for Dante audio streams. These settings prioritize Dante audio packets above other network traffic, reducing latency and packet loss to ensure high-quality, uninterrupted audio streaming.
