Architect 2660 is the latest addition to AudioControl’s highly successful Architect multi-zone amplifier series, which we are proud to say are among the best-selling multi-zone amplifiers worldwide, with the Architect Model 2660 being a stunning addition to this series. 16 channels of high-power amplification are output from the compact 2 U chassis, with the Architect 2660 delivering 65 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms, all channels driven. Channel bridging increases power to a remarkable 175 watts into 8 ohms. Benefitting from 35 years of proprietary AudioControl cool-running amplifier design, the Architect 2660 is equipped with features like input bussing, output pass-through, global 12 VDC trigger in/out with local 12 VDC trigger inputs for all zones, and input signal sensing on/off. Bus A includes a coaxial S/PDIF input for a digital source. Amplifier channels and connected loudspeakers are protected by AudioControl’s fast-acting LightDrive anti-clipping circuitry. Available in an expresso black finish, the Architect 2660 is designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA, and is covered by AudioControl’s standard five-year limited warranty.
