The ultra-compact AudioControl ACP-DANTE-D-POE is a two-channel, 100% lossless, Dante network audio decoder for Dante or AES67 audio streams. Industry-standard sampling rates from 44.1 kHz to as high as 96 kHz in 16-, 24-, or 32-bit word lengths are accurately converted back into an analog waveform. PoE capability and a compact form factor enable the ACP-DANTE-D-POE to be powered remotely for strategic placement near endpoint components. Any AVPro Edge MXnet 1G PoE switch may be used stand-alone or configured for Dante network traffic, providing a transfer distance of up to 100 meters (328 feet) with correctly implemented CAT5e or CAT6A infrastructure. Dante Controller, downloadable free from Audinate, is required to perform initial configuration, encoding parameters, Dante stream subscriptions, network settings, and AES67 audio support adjustments. For static installations, these may be set-and-forget adjustments. When powered and connected to a Dante network, the ACP-DANTE-D-POE is ‘auto-discovered’ for easy identification.
