The Heavy Duty Radar Blind Spot System is designed for vehicles with metal bumpers, specifically walk-in vans and box trucks. Our intelligent system uses radar to detect the vehicles in your blind spots, performing more reliably than GPS based systems. The system quickly and accurately calculates the speed difference between your vehicle and approaching obstacles - such as other vehicles, pedestrians, or objects - and will send visual and optional audible alerts when these obstacles are within 6 seconds of driving distance from your vehicle. Harness for HMI’s has option to run wires on surface of panel or drill hole to hide harnesses. When the turn signal is activated, A Visual And Audible Alarm Alerts The Driver When A Vehicle Is In Their Blind Spot. Adjust volume on the audible buzzer by using the Hi-Low-Off Switch. Radar Specifications - Blind Spot Detection(BSD) - Illuminates HMI when approaching vehicle is 27 feet behind the radar. Intelligent System Utilizes Radar To Determine Speed of Driver and Approaching Vehicles, alerting the driver when a vehicle is within 6 seconds driving distance. Blind Spot Monitoring At Speeds Over 22 Mph. Smart System Processing Minimizing False Triggers. High Accuracy Sensors Can Detect Moving Objects of all sizes.
