The 40-286 HDMI converter provides a simple plug and play signal conversion from HDTV HDMI resolutions to legacy composite video and analog stereo signals. Power is supplied from the HDMI source input jack. A external DC power jack is provided with a micro USB jack, a micro USB to USB type ‘A’ power cable to power the 40-286 is included in the event 5Vdc is not available from the HDMI source. A momentary push button is provided to select between the PAL\NTSC video standards if needed. When a HDMI input signal is not present a TV test pattern is automatically generated to indicate signal loss and to show the device is working on the composite video output.
