Directed's DB3 module tells your vehicle through its databus that it's okay for an aftermarket remote start or security system to start the engine or unlock the doors without that chip. The Directed DB3 module works in even more vehicles than the original DB-ALL module or its successor the DBALL2, and is compatible with all Viper, Directed, and Python security systems, as well as most other brands.
