Main features include this crossover has been specifically designed for the 8000 Series components, in particular, the 8.165/LE woofer, 8075 midrange; 8028/S tweeter; and the 8.003UMA mid-high unit. Multi-amplification connection options. Aluminum structure machined from solid aluminum with CNC machines. Clear acrylic cover for improved ventilation and component protection. Gold-plated spacers and screws. Gold-plated, large diameter parameter adjustment jumpers for zero resistance and ultra-high load capacity. All coils are wound in air to minimize distortion. Large diameter coil wire (1.5mm) made from 99.9% pure copper. Anti-inductive resistors with dissipating aluminum body, helps to manage very high powers in order to remain relatively cool and maintaining a constant resistance. Very high quality bi-metallized capacitors for maximum transparency of details in the medium and high frequencies. To increase the response speed, the tweeter uses a configuration of smaller capacitors in parallel. Compact size with a sturdy, 4 screw mounting system. 4 tweeter attenuation levels: 0; -2; -4; -6 dB. 4 midrange attenuation levels: 0; -3; -6; -9 dB. 3 midrange high pass frequencies. 2 different cutting slopes for the tweeter and midrange. 4 levels of adjustment for the woofer/midrange transition zone.
