MET AX-BXLOC2
CONVERTER 4 CHANNEL ACTIVE LINE OUTPUT W/ BASS RESTORATION 2 IN, 4 OUT
- UM : EACH
4CH Active Line Output Converter with Bass Restoration. The AX-BXLOC2 from the Axxess BX Series prevents factory audio systems from regulating lower frequencies and reducing the output of bass frequencies as the volume increases. A Bass-X restoration circuit in the LOC allows users to enjoy their music as it was recorded while maintaining the use of factory volume and steering wheel controls. This compact line output converter with active input circuitry accepts speaker-level signals of up to 400 watts per channel from factory-installed source units or amplifiers. They convert them to high-quality preamp signals that can be directed to aftermarket amplifiers. A bass remote control with a digital voltmeter is also included to help prevent equipment damage. As some factory radios or amplifiers stop passing audio when OE speakers are disconnected, Axxess load resistors may be required when installing the AX-BXLOC2. Features include 4-channel: 2 in, 4 out. Max input level: 40V / 400W at20K Ohm. Operating voltage: 9V-16V. Trigger selection: REM. Turn on trigger (DC): 3V-7V. Output max at 13.8V: 9.5V RMS. Input impedance selection: recommended: AX-LR20 / AX-LR39 / AX-LR60. Gain adjustment: - 28dB to +1dB. Input sensitivity: 0.5V-20V. Signal to noise: >110dB @6.4V output. THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion): <0.01%. Frequency response: 20Hz-20kHz. Bass boost: 0dB + 12dB. Plug-n-play remote bass knob with voltmeter included.
