Ford SWC and Data Interface 2020 - Up. The Total Control Series combines all of the features of the patented AXSWC steering wheel control interface with additional patent-pending data interface features into one robust and convenient solution. When replacing a radio, this interface utilizes patented Auto-Detect technology(1) that automatically detects the vehicle type, radio connection and preset controls, while allowing the ability to dual assign steering wheel controls. It provides NAV outputs, accessory power and a 12-volt illumination output, in addition to retaining R.A.P., balance and fade. Compatible with More Radios and Vehicles. The Axxess Total Control Series is designed to work with all major radio brands. In addition to Auto-Detect, it can be manually programmed for most vehicles and will retain settings even after battery disconnection or interface removal. This vehicle-specific package includes harnessing to make installation even easier. Product Features are Data and SWC interface with vehicle-specific harnessing. Provides accessory power (12-volt 10-amp). Provides wires for NAV outputs for multimedia radios (parking brake, reverse, speed sense). Retains audio controls on steering control. Retains balance and fade. Retains R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power). Designed for non-amplified models only. Designed to be compatible with all major radio brands. Auto detects vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls. Ability to dual assign steering wheel control buttons. Retains memory settings even after battery disconnection or interface removal (non-volatile memory). Provides illumination output. Micro “B” USB updatable. Note: The AXTC-FD3 does not retain SYNC.
