Attach the bracket to the ceiling joists before the drywall goes up to mark the speaker location for your builders. This ensures precise speaker placement, and helps make your installation go smoother. Outer Bracket Dimensions: 11.8125 inch (w) x 10.8125 inch (h) x 0.5 inch (d). Bracket Opening Dimensions: 9.1875 inch (diameter). Mounting Wing Dimensions: 13.375 inch (w) x 4.5 inch (h).
