It is also used with a radio replacement interface to replace a factory radio and retain the overhead LCD monitor and IR system. Provides an audio/video output from the factory radio. Routes audio and video from an aftermarket DVD player to the factory overhead LCD monitor. Compatibility Notes - 2012+ GM trucks & SUVs equipped with factory non-navigation radios require the GMRVD.
