Shallow-depth passive ceiling-mount loudspeaker ideal for retrofit in existing in meeting rooms. Microflex Conferencing Loudspeakers are designed for conferencing with clear, intelligible audio. When used with Microflex Ecosystem microphones, DSP, and amplifiers, they deliver room-filling sound, quick installation in a variety of room types, end-to-end audio encryption, and the efficiency of a single-source solution. Key features include Dual-driver architecture delivers full-fidelity, premium audio reproduction and optimum speech intelligibility. 4-inch main driver features large, well-vented motor for increased power handling; 1-inch tweeter features neodymium magnet and heatsink fins for high efficiency. Identical voicing to MXP-6 Pendant Loudspeaker for consistent tonality in blended installations. Dial In Great Sound - Up to eight MXP-5 loudspeakers can be used with the MXN-AMP PoE+ multichannel amplifier in 70/100V mode. MXN-AMP provides optimized presets as well as user-configurable EQ for each speaker output. Confident Communication - Shure Audio Encryption protects audio content between the MXN-AMP and other Shure Microflex Ecosystem devices in the room. Quick and Easy Installation - Shallow depth is ideal for retrofit applications or ceilings with limited mounting space. Similar diameter to MXA901 ceiling array microphone creates a symmetrical appearance and allows MXP-5 to replace smaller speakers by enlarging mounting hole in existing ceiling tile. Switch on front faceplate allows for quick adjustment between 70/100v or 8 ohm operation. Available A-MXP-5-TB Tile Bridge and A-MXP-5-NCB New Construction Bracket allow for easy installation.
