The EXMICRO3 is the latest in the EXMICRO lineup. It is a perfect "day-to-day" HDMI extender. It extends either 4K/UHD or 1080p HDMI signals up to 50m/164ft. The EXMICRO3 supports the entire HDMI 2.0b format including HDR and HDR+. The extender kit only requires power from one end (either) and has a 2-Way 12V IR kit included (one TX and one RX). There is also an innovative EDID circuit that allows for two preset EDID's (4K 60Hz. Stereo and 1080p 60Hz. Stereo). The other two settings allow for copy of the connected display at the RX or at the TX. Improvements include all connections on one side and an added optical audio breakout at the RX. Small, efficient, effective. Primary Use: Cost effective solution when someone doesn't want to pay more for the extender than their display. Not passing CEC and 12V IR, makes it a great option with control systems. Cat5e may be used, but some loss of distance may occur. Features include HDMI 2.0b (18Gbps). HDCP 2.2, HDCP 1.4 and DVI compliant. Video resolutions up to 4K2K@50/60Hz (YUV444). HDR10+ Support. No CEC Pass-Thru. Optical audio breakout at RX. HDMI loop out (can be used to manipulate EDID further. EDID management. Two way POE. The TX or the RX can be powered to power the other end device (only one supply is needed).
