The HDSURGE HDMI Protector is a compact ESD protection device designed for HDMI 1.3 and 1.4 interfaces. It safeguards against electrical surges with 13 channels of precise ESD clamp circuits, ensuring minimal signal distortion. Its integrated circuit technology offers superior matching between differential signal lines (<0.05pF), outperforming traditional discrete solutions that can degrade signal quality. Additionally, it includes a current-limited load switch for HDMI 5V output, offering short-circuit protection and reverse current blocking. This prevents 5V "sharing" between devices, avoiding potential damage when one device fails.
